Several of you have responded to my postings about cranking and running problems I have had with my '91 5.2. I think I finally fixed it. (Even a blind hog finds an acorn once in a while.) I pulled the distributor to check it. Nothing was loose or broken, but there were cracks in the plastic plate on the Hall Effects pickup. About a third of the plastic insulator on the harness connector had also broken off. I replaced the pickup and (so far) it starts and runs like new. Time will tell if it lasts. Maybe this will help some of you. Thanks for all your tips and responses.
