Does anyone know if there is a difference between the 4.7 in 2000 and 2001? I found a set of headers that i would like to buy off a wrecked 2000, but am unsure if there were any changes in 2001. Also, after removing the stock headers will the aftermarket (borla) bolt right on? I'm not much of a gearhead so any help would be appretiated.

I know that the headers will work, but call borla about the exaust set up. their exausts are usually a cat back system so it shouldnt be a problem, but get the info first.

The factory 4.7 exhaust manifolds flow to within 2% of headers. 2000 had 65mm throttle body, 2001 had 68mm.

That is an interesting stat. Headers, esp. Borlas, are too expensive for the gains received. And they are noisy! And Borla is entirely too proud of their stuff, pricewise.
