 Subject: trade R/T 4 a 4.75sd?

hey guys i hear alot about the 4.7 and would like to get opinions about wheather to trade my 02 R/T reg cab 4 a 4.75spd. reg cab. I know the R/T has a lot of potential, but i know 5spd is fun as hell. Any one really raced these types of Daks on the street or on the high way and whick one is really faster for stock 4 stock? THanks

Old argument with a lot of threads on this site. I love shifting gears so much, it was an easy choice for me. Gas mileage was an issue since I drive my Dak 30,000 miles annually. My '01 gets 19mpg overall with a Snugtop cab-hi shell, lowered 3", with homebrew intake and Flowmaster duals. Test drive one; I think you'll love it. 2001 Dodge Motorsports Limited Edition,RC,4.7,5-spd,3:92.

keep the r/t man. theres no other truck that gets so much attention and looks from people in the street except MAYBE a lightning. at least in my opinion i feel great to drive down the street and have lots of people turn their heads and look and many times people come up to me at the gas station to compliment it. r/t's are somewhat rare so enjoy it.
