my 03 cc 4.7 with only 1200 miles is idling like crap in park, drive, or whatever. It does this hot or cold. Anyone else had this problem? Any TSB's anyone knows about.

feels like its missing. the R.P.M's stay the same though (about 600)very frusterated for a brand new truck with 1300 miles on it to have that problem.

Mine always has too. A lot of other people here have complained as well. Mine also drops to 500 after stopping right after getting off highway. Do a search you`ll see. Dan Craycraft had an interesting solution to the idle drop on the following post:

I will be asking around at dealers about this one before my warranty is up. If I get any results I`ll post them.

Those of you with older 4.7s that idled ok then got rough - you probably need to clean the IAC on the TB. Those of you with newer trucks, I suspect the problem is a slightly low factory idle setting - you can change that by adjusting the screw that controls how much the throttle blade closes - just set it to open a hair more. Mine always idled ok until I replaced my 65mm 2000 TB with a newer 68mm TB from a manual truck. Wouldn't hold idle, I think setting was a little lower for manual tranny truck. Raised it up and its worked fine since. Looks like you need a special tool for the tamper resistant torx head but you can turn it grabbing the threads with pliers.
