I'm not the king of knowledge on the 4.7, but if I were you, I would get the H.O.cam installed. I have heard so much about it, and I think I might make it my next install. I have basically what you have, and I am wondering what to do next. There is a stageI chip for the 4.7 that i was thinking about getting, but I haven't heard much about it. If anyone has any info on the chip for the 4.7, please post on this message.

Thanks,
Paul

2003 CC, 4.7L 5spd. LSD, Flowmasters, and K&N air intake. plus a sound system(yay)

mustang: When you put on those 20's, but sure to match the tire diameter you now have so you won't kill the performance. Increased wheel weight hurts performance, too. You might opt for a more Dodge-friendly handle around here, to avoid hassles. DAKX01: I haven't tried computer mods yet, but the general consensus on this board is the Stage I is too mild; most opt for a flash.

Since new,i use Kn filter on my 2000. With 60k i started playing with it. First, was the FIPK K&N and tbs. Then, a couple of weeks later, i put on a set of Gibson headers and a cat back sistem. Also installed stage 2 jet chip and 180* jet thermostat. With 70k replaced t body with a 68mm fastman, and eliminated the fan clutch. Now i`m waiting for time to install the HO cams and the HO intake manifold, along with 3923 plugs. Also will try another thermostat, cause this one may be opening too sun causing the engine lite to go on [code 1281 engine too cold too long] and will take the tbs out. As to jet chip i don`t know what to say but i think it helps against running lean on the 2nd half of tac. With all these mods except the t body i was able to have averages of 21mpg on a 5k miles cycles. Before any mod , driving the same way was geting around 19 to 19.5mpg. Now with the new t body i think i did some thing to some sensors cause the consumption of gas is a lot higher at 17 to 18.My truck is always better on gas in town then on the high way cause in town i keep the tac between 800 and 1500 rpms all day and on highways, it rises to 2500 plus rpms. I got a cc 5 sp manual, with a 3.92 anti spin dif, scheduled to be replaced sun. This truck performs a loooot better than original. Also got IAS shocks to be put on. i`ll let you know.

Hey guys, I have looked around for computer upgrades for the 4.7. I think it is hyperchips that makes a computer chip for it. This is a replacement chip. I also looked at Superchips and found they do not offer a reprogrammer for the 4.7 yet. I am going to wait for a reprogrammer, should be around $300. The reason for the reprogrammer is that you can usually adjust for tire size and when you do reprogram the computer you are able to fine tune your computer. When you install a chip, you have no options.
