I shot an email to Superchips the other day to ask them the following question:
"Can you tell me when you will have a programmer for the Dodge Dakota 4.7L engine?"
The following was there resonse:
"I'm sorry we don't have one currently. Try back in Nov.
Thanks for your interest in our product."

I just emailed Jet ( there was this dude selling the chip for the jeep 4.7L on ebay and said it would work for the dodge 4.7L).
I wrote:
"Will the Chip for the Jeep 4.7 ( #90002 or #90002S ) work on a 2003 Dodge 4.7L ? If no, why not and when will there be a chip available for the Dodge 4.7L ?"
They said:
"No, it will not. Different ecm harness configuration. Hopefully by the end of Fall, 2003"

I called hypertech, and they will have a chip for the 4.7 about the first of the year.

mopar needs to come out with a high performance computer for the 4.7, like the ones they made to replace the stock computer for the 5.2 and 5.9.
i used to have a 95 CC 5.2 and when i installed the mopar computer it made a hella difference.

they stopped making the computers period, as well as R/T packages for the 5.2 for 1 reason...emssions standards.
