I am looking to purchase a set of headers and
was simply wondering if putting on
aftermarket headers would void my warranty?
Also, any suggestions as to which brand to
buy? I would think they would all perform the
same..no?

Some leak some dont. Some rust, some dont. Some keep heat in better, some dont. Which ones are better? I dont know but I'd be interested to hear what those who have them think. I may be in the market for some soon.

Mark-- I can get great prices on Doug Thorley headers (92-95 5.2L Dakota)-- If you are thinking of headers, that's the way to-- I ran those on my
'95 SLT. No leaking, just need to keep the header bolts checked on the flange to the heads, and peridically check the collectors (3 bolts each side). The bolts stretch, and need to be checked to keep from blowing out gaskets.
For the '96 and up 5.2/5.9 I have PPH, JBA, Gibson.
