I will be going to the trans shop in a couple weeks. My trans has had it and I will be getting some money back from a warranty I have on the truck. I can opt to let them pay their amount and then kick in any extra and have the mechanic do what I tell him.
So, do I have him rebuild my trans with some recommended parts? Do I go reman from any particular company you can recommend? Do I go totally aftermarket, etc.? What will be the strongest unit I can put in so in 100K more mi. I am still smiling high :-)
