You have to understand first off that your warranty cannot be voided by what you do to your truck. The dealer has to prove that what you did to your truck causes the problem if your truck craps the bed. Trust me I bent a pushrod and a valve spring on mine and they fixed everything and all i paid was the 100 dollar warranty deductible. I had a M1 and 52 mm TB on it along with some other mods and they didn't even hassle me about it.

the gibson was a mistake... if u go to exhaustsoundclips.com they have muffler comparisons and the gibson was one of the worst flowing mufflers on the market. the r/t comes standard with a dynomax super turbo which is a much better flowing muffler than the gibson. but besides mufflers, get the f&b 50mm throttle body, remove the cats, get 1.7 roller rockers, a 180* thermo, and some headers and u should feel some nice gain.

You didn't say what gears you have, and I am not positive what gears are normally put in at the factory on R/T's, but if it is truly slow, then you probably have 3.55's. If you aren't sure look at the printout inside the glove box door.

If it reads 3.55, cut right to the chase and get 3.92's installed as soon as possible. This will be the best mod you will ever make.

well I would check out the new R/T headers
and the dual exhaust ..we have done several
2002's and the results have been awesome

Here is a recent post from a 2002 owner after
the install

O.K. ... its been longer than planned but I
finally got Scotts new headers and true dual
Spintech on and the truck is running like it
never did before! All I can say is OH MY
GOD!!!!!!! it was like taking a cork out of a
bottle! The new exhaust system really seems
to complement my mods and it really sounds
bad ass...not to loud but when you get into it
screams!!!I will be dynoing in the next couple
of weeks and IM going to run my truck at the
track next week if its nice. The way it feels now
I think I should run some really good times If I
can get traction, before I had this system I
could hardly turn the tires over even with the
4.56's now it just roasts them as soon as I
blip the throttle!.

All in all IM very impressed and a true believer
as to what Scott was saying about the gains I
would get.

Just wanted to say thanks to Scott for taking
the time to talk to me and answer my
questions.

Bottom line is the new headers and true dual
with the cats ROCKS and is worth every
penny, feels like I got a totally new truck!

MagnumRT02 now with headers and true
duals
