I performed a port and polish on my t/b my self ; it really seemed to help on the low end and around 3000 rpm . I took it to the track and tested it . I have a 99 Dodge 1/2 ton reg cab w/360 and an auto . I ran it against a buddys 00 camero ss with a 6 speed , amazingly the truck only runs 1 second slower through the 1/8 mi than his ls 1 car . Just to be sure I had him drive mine and i drove his , the result was the same . I would say thats not too bad for a lead sled truck against a fiberglass speedster like the ss . I've also done some other mods incl.: k&n filter , accel plugs and wires , dual exhaust , 160 therm , cat chop , synthetic lube all around . I am getting ready to add headers , port and polish heads and intake , upgrade ignition system .
