 Subject: Viper V-10 in my Dak R/T

Guys-
I've been surfing the net for quite some time now, and I want to do a Viper V-10 in my '99 R/T standard cab. I've located a motor and trans, ecu, harnesses, rear end, exhaust, pedals, master cylinder, etc from a buddy of mine... came from a brand new Ram SRT/10...viper GTS motor. $3200 for all...as I said, its from a buddy of mine. Anyway, I'm interested in what sort of engine bay mods I'm going to have to do...aka engine mount work? Can I retain A/C? Driveshaft shortening? Anything else I need to know? I'm planning on doing this within the next couple of months or so...please do your best to help me out, or get me in touch with someone that's done this before. Thanks-

Somewhere in the old threads there is a fully
documented swap of a viper engine into a
gen3 dak.

See if you can contact a Chuck Snodgrass in Boise Idaho He did the whole thing a couple of years ago no big problem but get the V 10 tach. took a little work to get all the electronics right but he did a good job and documented it all for anyone else that may want to do it. I got a ride in it and no stock truck can match the power
