I just bought a 2001 QC dakota with an auto tran. 4.7l V8. I was wondering what is the easyest way to make thos tires spin with out spending too much money. I dont want to just burn rubber all day but i would like to be able too. My cousin has a 1972 cutless supreme that burns rubber and i would like to give him a run for his money without spending a fortune. Any advice would be apreciated.

Unfortunatelly there really isn't any thing "cheap" that's going to improve power as much as you would like!!! I put on a Jet stage II chip and an Airraid intake on my 2000 QC 4.7 auto. I noticed a difference but not enough. I ended up putting on a Kenne Bell supercharger and wow.............wow.......! That's the way to go if you can afford it. Beleive it or not i still can't burn em right off... the limited slip really does a goood job hooking it up. Where do you live??? I still have the jet chip I want to get rid of for cheap. I paid 300 CDN. I'd sell it for 150. As long as your truck is not 4wd. let me know.....
