Guys:
Need a little help here...have a '97 4X4 5.2l with auto tranny. Have added K&N Gen 2 filter, black magic electric fan with 180 tstat..just recently had dealer install Mopar headers and ran a 3" single pipe back through modified catback exhaust setup. After headers, watched my mileage
go from 13 to 16mpg on the highway. Only down side is the tranny slips and engine redlines up to 5000rpm anytime I step on the gas and it won't shift until I take my foot off. Have tried re-setting the computer, no help. Whats up since it shifted perfectly before the header install??
thanks, Rob

Update on the slipping tranny...
call from the dealer, said the '97 does have a TV cable for the transmission, and since it has been slipping until I could get it back in to the dealer, the clutch may be fried...
I'm more than a little pissed since the tranny shifted perfectly before the dealer installed the headers...
