 Subject: MSD blaster coil wont fit 97' 5.2?

i have the MSD blaster coil for my 97 5.2 liter dakota. the stock one has the point where the plug goes on from the cap n rotor, and on the other side it has a lil plug. the MSD blaster coil has the point for the plug and 2 lil rings that say POS. and NEG. so how do i convert or changed the lil sensor plug into pos. neg? or do i leave that alone and run 2 wires to my battery? also should i mount the MSD blaster coil in the stock location or somewhere else? (i heard it will vibrate less if mounted in a new location) thanks

Mike, if you haven't destroyed the packaging for the Blaster, see if you can exchange it for the application specific coil MSD has for the Magnums. I have one on my truck and it works excellent. ( sorry, I don't have the P/N offhand& the plug is different on your '97 than my '92).
