The Paxton system is a pain. I have a big list of reasons not to buy one. I have posted them on a few different posts. I will find one of my posts that tells the story. It also depends on what you want. The Paxton doesn't produce any boost until high rpms. The KB is almost instant.

2000, CC, SLT, 4x4, 4.7, 3.55, Auto
Paxton Supercharger at 11 lbs. of boost (DO NOT BUY)
Custom 2.25" Y-Pipe, 3" High Flow Cat, 3" In/Dual 2.5" out under the bumper, 2.5" JBA Headers, 72mm TB, 3923's, 180 T-Stat, IAT Adjuster, Ignition Solutions Plasma Booster, Aquamist Water Injection

I think the KB is good if you have an auto trans. The twin screws give you full boost (if you want it) at lower rpms. The KB is more difficult to tune if you start making other mods though. Not sure about running 10lbs of boost. Get some heavy duty head gaskets and studs. Maybe a water inj kit. See how it works, if you get any pinging, you could lower the compression or back off the timing.

2000 4.7 CC auto, clear corners, Magnaflow catback, Kenne Bell s/c, Aquamist water injection.

The stock head gaskets can take around 14 lbs of boost. I don't have any pinging with my setup, I have the stock compression ratio, only 91 octane fuel, but I have water injection. Although I don't know if the water injection is doing much. KB has all the pulleys to run up to something like 22 lbs of boost.

A smaller pulley on either of the superchargers.

I haven't done any mods to the engine. It seems to be working just fine.
