Hey Folks! Just wanting to meet others here in OKC that Own Daks! Don't care about engines or mods, Only interested in folks that enjoy there trucks as much as I do. Mine is a 97' Slt with a few mods (more soon). I live in Bethany, Ok. and have enjoyed my truck for the last 6 months. Serious replies only please!

Hey thanks for the replies blackv8dak and jermo69! Maybe we can roll out someplace. What mods if any do you have? I only have small mods now but more in the works.(flowmaster 40's, lakewoods,and working on a K&N Intake. Think I'll fab my own. Working towards a new hood.. perhaps Reflexxion cowl intake or a ram air hood. new wheels American eagle 117 series, Mopar PCM chip coming soon!) 97' SLT 5.2 and lovin' every minute of driving her! You guys have any ideas of a centrally located place to park em?

yeah i don't have too awful much done to mine. so far i have JBA firecone headers, flowmaster 40 series, removed 3rd cat, k&n, lakewood trac bars, leather seats from a durango. if yall can think of a good place to meet i'm all about it.

Hello Wuba, I'm at 33rd and Council. You might have seen my truck around town, I have a home improvement business and I'm always driving around here. Truck is white with lettering on the side windows "General Fix It Home Improvement Co. Yeah, my truck is also my work truck but I keep her real clean! I'm always cruisin' down 39th st. Blackv8dak, Thought about new headers but I'm not much of an auto mech, but I,m learning. Did you get the FIPK or fab your own intake with the cone? What about your lakewoods? did you have to shim them to be closer to the spring? My snubbers are a little too far away from my springs.

hey hammers. nah i don't have the FIPK. i jsut bought the drop in for now becasue i plan on putting a Paxton in there before the year is up. As far as the trac bars go i put the snubbers in the hole closest to the bolts so it like about an inch maybe from my springs. hey since you own a hardware store maybe we could all just meet up there one day?

Ok Folks! On Saturday nights you will find ricers all over 39th street.( I like to play with them a little) Usually, they gather around Merridian by the O'Rileys auto store. I was thinking maybe this Saturday (7-12-03) WUBA, Blackv8dakm, or jermo69 could meet to discuss mods and other Mopar stuff. Perhaps we can cruise around Lake Overholser. I would sure like to see a turn out like the biker meet I saw yesterday at Joe's crab shack on Nwexp! Hundreds I say, HUNDREDS of em' just meeting and having a good time. Let me know what you guys think. Daks rule!(P.S. I know there wont be that many of us but who knows?)

Thanks for the reply x96283, (Sure you can play too!!!) Wuba, Blackv8dak and all! Lets keep this thread going and give a little time to try and organize a bonified meet here in OKC. Keep eyes on the boards (I usually check the board every night for a little while)I too will be going on a trip first week of Aug, but will be back by mid month. maybe by then we can actuall organize one. Til then I will be cruisin all over the place, maybe I will spot one of you out there! I can spot a Dak a mile away. If anyone wants to cruise before then I'm game. Hey blackv8, Hows your Dak in this hot weather with the K&N? Lately mine is a bit sluggish during the heat of the day, gotta rectify the problem soon!!! (4 wheel parts on May ave. has the FIPK for $219 in stock! Still thinkin of building my own though, to save $$$.)

heh awesome the OKC daks are coming out in force. far asthe hot weather goes. yeah i do notice it a little bit sluggish sometimes in hot weather but at night man thats when she wakes up. muaha. 219 is a great price for the FIPK. but yeahits not hard to mod one yourself. i did it back when i had my '97 V6 and it wasn't that difficult. 3 guys in lawton huh? freakin awesome. we'll have us an army before too long. hey hammers, after this weekend i'll be up for a cruise hopefully. maybe we can cruise down to 39th street and stamp Dodge all over the a$$es of those ricers.
