#1 what do you call the visor that goes on your window? Window shield or visor? its clear and blakc...where do you get it and how much?
#2 how much Hp does the 01 R/T comes with and what do they run 1/4 stock?
how big is the gas tank...? gal
are they trucks , slow? what can they beat stock

1. Vent visor is one name. A lot of auto parts stores have them . I don't know how much.
2. 250 HP, 22 gallon gas tank, The rest I don't know sorry!

no question is a dumb question. stock R/T
can beat most stock trucks xcept a stock
lightning. a supercharger and minor mods
can fix that though.

ok. what kind of mods? I have intake and cat back.. with dumps,chip. 1.6 viper rockerarms, Cams, lifters.. I run a 13.4 in the 1/4? what do lightings run stock..

L's run Mid to low 13's stock, and with about $200 in Mods can easily run 12's.....

Justin...maybe run a 75 shot of nitrous, you
should easily take a lighting. Check out
duners turbo setup...turbo your R/T and it
would be faster than lightning fast

hey how many L's have you pulled up alongside.
not 1 yet for me. but have had fun with everything else. being that both trucks are 01' quad cabs with 4x4 and 265/75/16 tires i am not in the same bracket and know that. but that is was the stang is for to fill the void. 1 thing to remember is that you can go as fast as the bank account allows. have a friend running in the high 10's with a 4 cyl eagle talon. more money in the drive train then my whole truck. well good luck!

nextgen- what kind of mods for 200 bucks for a R/T?
well i had troulbe with turbo.. but it was on a honda.. blowing rods and burning up pistons due to high boost and detanation... kinda just want to keep it all motor.. plus i am still under warranty

200 in Mods for an R/T or and Lightning (L)?? 200 Might have been a slight underestimate for the L to run 12's probably about 300-500, but for a R/T to run that fast you will probably need to dish out a bit, everyones excuse is the L cost so much more than the R/T I can afford the Mod's. Truth is the L goes for about 28-29 around where I live, and a fully loaded Dak is probably about 24-25, thats what i paid for my 2000 SLT+ when I had it, so you don't have much to spend to even make it competitive. All the L owner has to do is upgrade his MAF, and Intake Tube, and he's wooping you again....I'm not dissing Dakota's cause I had one and loved it, but I had a need for speed, so I went with the Cobra. For a R/T to run with a L he needs to upgrade to a supercharger but that runs for about 3000, or you can do a bunch of internal work, but thats still a whole lotta money...I Had a Z-Tube, and Jet Stage II, with custome Exhuast on the Dak, and it ran 16.2's all day long on 32" BFG's its a quick truck but i paid about 700 just for the mods I had....

Pulled up next to a Lightning the other day at a red light. I had to fight and cut a few people off to be the one "staged" next to him. There was a little bit of mid day traffic... but enough room to 'play'. No doubt he missed me (my truck is solar yellow), his was red (I hate red, and fords no doubt). He was interested... I burned him at take off... and as we approached more cars I was able to slide into a better lane to avoid traffic. I know if it would have been the quarter mile, any decent driver in that Lightning would have buried me... I was happy.
I'm sure no one really cares, but I enjoyed it... and just let me tell you about this one time against a mustang gt...
