I started to build a 318 and realizing that the parts are rare, and high. So I though about a 360 but the crate motors are high. Then this guy I know built a new motor for his 99 R/T dakota, so he sold his stock 360 to me for 900 $. All I had to do was take my 318 intake and put it on the 360 because of the egr valve in the back, the 99 motors dont have one. I ran 8.70 at 77 mph with a 1.84 60ft in the 8th mile. I also have 4.10 gears with posi. An 518 transmission with a 2.74 first gear, stag 2 shift kit, cavlar clutchs and bands, and a 2300 stall. I put it to the ground with a par of 28*11.5 M/T ET street Dots

is there any little "bugs" u ran across while doing this swap besides the egr problem? i have a 97 with a stick. i think this would b an exciting swap in the future! cuiosity, did u notice a huge difference or just a slight difference?
