Hello,

I am the proud owner of a 97 Dak V6 3.9 that I have
taken very good care of and runs pissa.

I can't believe the dealer tried to steal it from me for 4k.
I have made no mods, but have done all prev maint -
tires shocks brake system engine etc.

So instead of trading it , I am going to keep it and buy a
second truck.

the one I want is a 4.7 V8 QUAD cab 4 wd 2001. It
really drives well as it seems to have been a lease, 2
years old with 28k miles on it. They are asking for
22,995.

Can Anyone tell me if this price is reasonable? Is there
anything about this year vehicle that is Caveat Emptor?

I appreciate any good/bad reviews.

Thanks in advance.

I have a 2001 QC 4x4 (4.7/auto/16" wheels, steps, hard gullwind tonneau, etc) with only 14k miles on it... Edmunds guide says it is worth about 19K retail... so $23K for one with 28k on it may be a tad high... but then again... maybe you can bargin for a better price if the truck is in excellent/outstanding shape.... check all the blue book values first... NADA, Edmunds, and Kelly....

btw... I am enjoying my truck... no problems to-date...
