 Subject: oil censer

can anybody tell me where the oil censor on a 93 5.2 is located. My check oil light keeps coming on and oil presure drops but it still runs fine. i just need to no were the censor is because i need to try and fix it

Oil pressure sender on 318 mag is on the back of the block behind manifold, to the pass side of distributor. Its a round gizmo with a two or 3 wire plug on top. You'll need a special deep well socket to get it out, available at Autozone. These senders are problematic, I had to change mine when the gauge went nuts but the engine was running fine.
