Hey guys,
I want to upgrade my PCM in my '96 SLT 5.2L & Ive got a few questions.
Whats the best PCM for my application & where can I get it? Do I have to run premium fuel? How much RWHP & RWTQ does a PCM swap usually give?
Here's the current setup:
96 SLT 318 153K miles
Accel coil, NGK U-groove plugs
Open element K&N
180 stat, 16" electric fan
tranny hard parts & cooling system upgrades
full 3" exhaust, powertrax LSD.
Other tweaks you guys know? I'm also currently looking for a set of the '92-93 ex manifolds.

I have a 96 sport 5.2 with it. I like it alot. I got mine for 135.00 where everyone else is selling it for 350.00. They are worth the price. I run 92 octane in mine but you can run cheap gas in it as long as it is not to hot out or it will ping real bad. buy the cheap gas and a thang of octane booster and it seems to do fine. Check to see if it is programed allready for your truck. If it's not then you will have to go to a dodge dealer and pay about 70.00 to get it programmed.

i bought a used mopar pcm for my 97 5.2 and the thing doesnt work, my engine will start then die in 5 secs, dealer says they cant re program anything
