got some spare change...i was wondering if i would trip a code if i installed a cut out before the cat?...i wanted to install two right after the manifolds but i was told i dont have enough room to do that...everyone else is installing a cut out inbetween the cat and muffler but that sounds kind of pointless unless you just want more noise...

don't install it downstream of the cat.

there are no 02 sensors going into the 3rd cat so you would not trip a code. when i was installing my headers i had to run them open for 1 day even tho there are sensors on the pre cats. so you should be good to go.
