hey guys tell me if im crazy here or not. I have a cherry bomb muffler i bought like 3 years ago sitting in my garage. It is a 2inch in/out muffler. My truck (2002 CC 4.7L) has 2.5 inch exhaust. If i i weld on 2.5 to 2 reducers to and from the cherry bomb will i lose alot of performance? Any help would be appreciated.

Yes you'll lose power and it'll sound like crap and noone will want to be your friend (excuse the sarcasm I just can't stand the sound of those things). Just suck it up and buy a 2.5 in/out flowmaster 40 series if you want loud.
Loudness down from there is borla, dynomax, magnaflow, and gibson. Ravin and mprb fall somewhere in there.
