I have been having cooling problems in the Texas sun and my girlfriend has become sick of me driving with the heater on high in 90+ degree heat.
I also noticed that the water pump I installed last year has started puking water out the bottom. (Probably the weep hole.)
I bit the Credit Card Bullet today and ordered a Flow Kooler water pump, 180 Degree 'stat, and the Black Magic 150.
I'm hoping this works since I replaced the radiator earlier this year. If it doesn't I have a serious blockage somewhere...
Here is my concern. I read a post tonight that stated that the Black Magic will not fit in a Gen II with a V8. The poster stated that there was not enough room for the fan/shroud. The add states that it takes up 4.5". I was able to measure 5 tonight.
Has anybody completed this mod successfully?
