Ok, I know this topic has been talked about tons of times, but forgive me...

For the HO Cam install, the directions on the buymopar.com website say nothing about draining coolant from the engine. However I've done many searches on the cams and it seems some have done this (draining).

Whats the deal...does it have to be done or not??

Also I understand the power steering pump has to be loosened to get a torque wrench in there...yes?

I'm hoping to do the cam upgrade within the next week or two, I just wanna get things straight before I dive in.

Thanks guys

Certainly you have to remove the timing cover to remove the cam? Is this wrong? If you do then you have to remove the water pump which will drain most of your coolant system. Where does the cam come out from?

The 'cams' are on top of the cylinder heads, right under the valve covers, or in this case, the cam covers. :-)
