About 5 hp and a little better PCM program, but not much. Also a few hundred pounds from not having the QC, and a much better suspension from the factory. More than just the engine makes a R/T a R/T.

PCM? I dont think so, the 5hp difference is in the muffler, and if it is the PCM show me a link so I can be proven wrong. Why would Dodge go to the trouble to reprogram the R/T's PCM when everything else is exactly identical to the QC's motor? I hear people on here saying "R/T motor", its just a late model 360 same as all the rest.

You're right, the motor is the same in the Quad Cab, the R/T, the Durango, and the Ram. No difference in the motor. Show me proof that the muffler makes any difference?? Why does Dodge go the the trouble of having different speed limiters for different trucks?? If they can do that, they can surely change the fuel tables a little. The muffler was only different on the '98-'99 R/T's. In '00, they changed the mufflers on the R/T's.

I looked at a R/T Durango, the engines looked exactly the same. The exhaust was a very different story though. I traded in a bad 2000 SS Z28 in for this truck so I miss the power. I think an engine almost 6 liters should make 300+ hp. How can I get 300 hp? Intake?
