What is the best muffler to put on my 4.7L quad cad with low Interior resonance but still sound nice out the back? I have cat back duals with 2.5 inch pipes.

I've had Flowmaster 70 "Big Block" mufflers on both a '92 5.2 and a '01 4.7. Just what you're looking for: great sound out back, minimal floorboard noise, a real treat.

I've got a Dynomax on my 4.7...I think it's perfect for what you are looking for.

I have run Magnaflow and Dynomax mufflers and like both of them equally well. Nice tone outside with very little noise/ drone inside. I do not care for the Flowmaster either.

Have a glasspack now planing on changing it out, Sounds good but alittle loud. I know! I know! I have a glasspack but give me a break.

I have a Gibson cat-back system. It doesnt really drone all that much, and not nearly as much as it would with a Flowmaster. Gibson's catch in advertising is that they "aim" the sound to the back of the truck. I havent got a clue how they do that but its true, the truck is so much louder and better sounding than I think it is from sitting inside of it.

sorry, you want a louder exhaust, but no in cab noise. does not exist you want loud you are gonna get loud in cab

i run a mbrp single in dual out, it is hella loud at wot, at cruising rpms, around 2000 rpm, its kinda loud, gotta crank the the tunes, but i will take what i got over what i don't have
