I regretted the v6. I was kicking myself for a year and a half. Couldn't even keep it 2 years

I debated the issue myself. Had two identical '02 QC trucks available at the same price. One had 12K miles with a V6 & 12K miles. The other was a V8 with 24K miles. Which one to buy...?
Well, after alot of debate, I bought the V8. After the second gas fill-up, I checked the mileage. Now I wish I'd have bought neither!
This thing gets 12.5 mpg driving like there is a raw egg under the gas pedal. It drives like a tank, stops like a loaded coal truck and rattles like a Rambler. Save yourself the heartache and buy something well engineered; Toyota Tacoma maybe?
