Not all carriers are Nuclear power, there are still a few left that run on good oil fashion feul oil. Missoula IS full of greenies, and yes lots of them drive pickups now that their volvos have broken down. A jet aircraft is usually not necessary and they use tons of feul every hour, just to move a couple hundred people, a couple of busses could do that for much less. That's just it though, I don't care what people do with their resources. IOf left alone the law of supply and demand in a free market will sort all these problems out. If we start running out of fossil feuls then there will be a normal push toward something else as the price goes up. It has always worked well this way in the US and to try and force something down our throats is what will cause problems. Buy forcing feul standards has car manufactures working hard on feul cells, when a feul cell doesn't make much sense for a car. It really would work well in a stationary application, where weight doesn't really matter, like for a house. But we are forcing car buyers to pay for development of technology that will benifit a different aera. Bottom line the greenies have really been flooded with communists now that there is not really any other communist refuge left in america anymore. I consider my self a true enviromentalist, like Teddy Roosevelt, a conservationist and rebublician.
