Hey like the trucks come factory with 31's and I know you can easly get away with 33's and a 3" body lift. But I wouldn't go any bigger. The front end won't handle mutch abuse even with 31's. So play it by your wallet and don't do the crime if you can't pay the fine.

thanks, but I'm interested in putting on the biggest tire without using a lift kit. I suppose it's probably 31 inch. Thanks everyone for your input

I had 32x11.50x15 on my 97 3.9 4x4 and had no problems. The tires filled the fenders nicely. Also a 265/75/16 should go on your 02. It is like a 32x10.50 just as tall as a 32 but not as wide. Hope this helps.

265/75/16 are it. 285/75/16 just scrape the front inner fender during turns.

for me to get my 33x12.5 BFMT's on 15x10 rims I did a 3" body lift and tightened up my torsion bars...and did lots of trimming on my front fenders. Well worth it. You can get the same tire on a 15x8 rim with a 3" body lift alone.....you gotta go with 15x10's though if you want it to look tuff though.
