Sorry for the long post. I was researching the Dakota's from about 93-96 and had a question about the V8's.
Was 95 the only year that they came with the 235hp 5.2?
'Cause it seemed that the next year it had dropped down to like 220 or something.
I am looking to get something with a little more giddyup in the future (more thatn my '90 3.9 that is.)
Since those idiots at Ford and GM didn't offer small trucks with V8's. At least not that I could find, plus I don't want a tiny ride.
But I thought that the '95 sounded pretty good both for power and $$.
Any opinions?

94-96....220hp@4400/300tq@3200
97+......230hp@4400/300tq@3200
The only past non dodge compact truck with balls was the syclone.
