ive waited so long to do this...i, from now on will be named "gotanRT"...i lika da joose...i got a couple questions about the 360...

-Ok it's got 50,000 miles on it and the first thing im doing is putting new spark plugs in it...which plug do i go with? I'm gonna be modding it a little bit, but nothing as drastic as a blower...yet...im 2 young to go into debt...

-Intense air intake stage 3...which filter is gonna suck the most air and make the MOST NOISE...

-I live in NC...inspections...if i chop the 3rd cat, is it generally illegal and will they catch it?

-it maybe a crazy idea...but wut about a cut out? anybody had experience with kotas and cut outs?...

What year is your RT? I know in my state AZ anything 99 and newer is good for few years with emissions, as long as you dont run strait pipes or a loud ass muffler you should be fine.

Im gettin stage 3 intense...but which filter do i wanna go with?...Ive only had my new kota for a week now and ive had so much fun toying with imports...half throttle and theyre all in my rear view mirror screamin like a tickd off bumble bee...beating an import used to be an accomplishment in my old 3.9...there's one im not sure about at school...it's a 2002 subaru impreza with a factory turbo in it...im still stock...but should i race him anyways?...

yea thats wut i waz afraid of zach...does anybody have a 2 1/4" cut out in their 360?...i im gonna cut the third cat and go flow 40 dual exit straight out the back...im thinkin 2 1/4"? and i wanna cut out so i get drown out the noise of all the fart pipes around me down here...tell me what you think...

oh yea about the WRX...Another guy at my school with a mustang GT 5 speed basically stock blew away the subaru...it's not a mach...its not blown...i dont know what year it is but its the new body style...wut do the GT's put out stock does anybody know?...

Okay, to clear up a little mis-information you have. The '00 R/T's only haqve ONE cat. Replace it with a highflow cat and you will be fine. The factory exhaust is 2.5" so if you want to do a cutout, you need a 2.5" cut out. The IP stge II isn't any better than a homemade intake, but the K&N GenII FIPK kit has been shown to actually help even more. I switched from the QuickD CAI wih the 3" polished tup and huge filter to a K&N GenII and felt an increase. Plus, the heat sheild is definitly worht it. On the IP intakes, I've heard the can around the filter actually restricts some airflow. 1st things 1st, get the Mopar PCM. You will definitly want it. Under $300 for your '00. Next, I woudl go with the intake, ported throttle body, headers(PPH headers are emissions legal), full 3" exhaust, and 2bbl M1. in that order. After that, you're pretty much open for anything. And shoudl be running mid to low 14's. On the WRX, race him. If he has an auto, you should be able to hang with him for a while. If it's a manual, unless he's launching at 4K RPM or hiher, you can probably take him. You have the drive the WRX hard to get good times out of it and most people don't do that. ANd if you lose, so what. You lost to a AWD turbo charged car in a truck. Big deal. Do some mods, and come back and spank his ass.

HSKR...yea i just crawled under it in my driveway today and figured out i only had one converter...wut year did they switch from 3 to 1?...oh well im not complainin...i guess ill go 2 1/2" exhaust...how far back should i go to put the cut out in? I dont care if i lose a litte bit of low end...ill get it back with some othe r mod later on...wheres a good place on the net to find a cap and rotor?...oh yea that rustang waz around 260hp...forget the ricer...the ford is my target now...
