 Subject: Tranny Fluid break down

Is this normal?:
'01 CC 4.7 auto3.55 - I change my oil the other day and noticed that the tranny fluid is beginning to break down (Fluid is not bright red,,but fading to light pink). The truck has 17,000mi. on it,,,alot of it is pretty hard/fun driving. But I thought it would last longer....
Is this because of the way I drive it,,,or a possible problem w/the tranny?????

Light pink,I'd be worried that water somehow got in the trans. Do you have the external trans cooler or do you have the one in the radiator?
I'd get it serviced immediately, better safe than sorry.
