I have a 1993 Dakota 5.2 auto. 2-wd. I have the
same problem, no power to the fuel pump. It starts
ok but anytime after that its lible to die because
there is no power to the fuel pump. This sure
seems to be a big problem on dakota trucks. I've
tried two fuel pumps, a fuel pump relay. Now I'll
take it to the dealership an see if they know
what is wrong. By the way, there is an in-line gas
filter between the tank and the engine. On my
1993, the filter is along the frame under the
drivers side door. Thats now going to fix the
problem but it probably needs replacing. Please
help If you have anything else to try. I'm going
to check the wire splice under the fuse box. Wish
me luck!

No there is not. It's built into the fuel pump.
