Okay, i'm taking a poll (and looking for suggestions really). I recently traded my 3.7L CC for a 4.7L QC. I don't have a whole lot of money to throw around right now but i want to do something.

In your opinion what would be the best bang-for-the-buck mod for a 2002 QC 4.7L Dak for around $250?

Yeah but go the extra mile and get the h.o. manifold. Just stay in another weekend.

Just my opinion, but the HO manifold is useless... When i trade it in in a few days my ho intake will be on the truck.

The CAMS were great, but the intake seemed to kill the cams more than help... Cams alone are probably good for some really good 3 gear burnouts....

IMHO cams good, intake not so good.... especially with the weight of the quad cab...

Thanks for the input guys.

Couple questions. Who makes the cams and where's a good place to buy them? What should i expect to pay for the cams? and what should i expect to pay for the intake?

Also, i have automatic transmission...does that change your opinion?

Don't forget to go to a 180 degree thermostat, and try running without the engine driven fan fan. Both of these mods will work well with the HO cams, and the best part is that they'll cost you less then $20 bucks, combined! (the fan removal is free, of course!)
