The key to porting the throttle body is to not remove any material from around the throttle blade when it is closed. Remove the lip that is in front of the throttle blade so that it is the size of the throttle blade. It is quite a narrowing compared to the size of the throttle blade. I used sanding drums at 60 grit so as not to remove to much material to quickly.

I didn't remove the throttle blade or anyting. Just removed the throttle body from the engine. If you want it to be as good as the hughes TB you will have to remove half of the throttle shaft for improved flow I would suggest grinding the screws down and thinning the shaft some if you want it to bethe same. Getting rid of the lip before the blade is really the big difference.

CW- I see in your sig and other posts where you are trying to set up the fuel system. I have also been looking for a simple, cost effective system for my '95.

My biggest problem seems to be the fuel pump/regulator system in the tank.

I remember reading that you found a dual line(feed and return) that replaces the fpr in the pump assembly?

Looking for ideas for this set up.

I got a dual line set up out of a diesel pump modual. You could get one from a '92 or '93 pick up or dakota they had the return line. Get the injector lines, the top part of a pump modual and a regulator and you are set. Bernd is the one to ask on that. I haven't done much with mine because I haven't gotten a regulator yet.
