I hate to ask, but you guys are going to "home depot" and getting parts to make a "cold air" intake... What parts do I need to pick up to make one for a 96 3.9L Dakota? Thanks

you will get more info (and quickly) performing a search than waiting for everybody to reiterate what is within the posts already...
for example a search on "home made air intake" results in over 10,000 hits. I’m sure some are appropriate, for example...
