Two weeks ago, i had a crankshaft position sensor go bad in my Dak. Major idle and power problems and then it just wouldn't start at all, so i had it towed in. It was repaired under warranty and the next day i drove it home. Yesterday day, i jump in the truck and it wouldnt start. I havent had a single problem with it since i picked it up two weeks ago. This morning, i am thinking i will have to get it towed in again, but just for grins i stick the key...and it fired right up.
so, i think to myself that i will just drop it off at the dealership and ask them to take a look at it. the whole way to the dealership, no error codes tripped on the MIL light.
Now, a little history. I have moved the IAC sensor to the airbox and replaced the coil with a MSD Blaster coil. So, the dealership is now saying that they cannot run the diagnostics on the truck because it has aftermarket products on it. Is this B/S???
Also, does anyone have any ideas about repairing the intermittant No-Start condition?

Thanks

I highly think you have a coil problem, it either doesn't have a good ground or the coil is bad. You really don't need a aftermark coil, the stock is just fine. Are you even using anything bigger than the stock 7MM wires? I suggest moving back to your stock coil if you still having problems.
