Subject: Tune-up ques. plugs,wires,cap?

I have 99 RT CC with 75,000 mi. and probably way over due for a tune-up. It's my daily driver and I don't race it at all (except a few stoplights). I figure I should replace the plugs, wires, cap and rotor, and the belts. I change the PCV valve at every oil change (Mobil 1 every 3K). From the posts that I have searched I've concluded that the Autolite 3923's set to .40 are good. I'm unsure about the wires. I would like better than stock but not sure about the size. Taylor's seem to be popular. I would also want them fit like OEM so as not to have to due any mods with looms, etc if possible. The Borg-Warner Cap and rotor seem to be a popular choice as well. Suggested sizes and part no.s for all would be greatly appreciated. If there is anything else that should be taken care of while I'm taking care of the rest please let me know. The only mod I have is a home-brew intake. Thanks for any input.

I'm going to make it easy on you. Just head on over to NAPA. They have everything you need. 8mm wires(better than stock) in stock lengths, cap & rotor with the brass contacts instead of aluminum, I'm not sure if they carry autolite, but I prefer Bosch anyway. I've been using Bosch for 20 years and they've never let me down - and my engine doesn't knock either. Should have your belt too. You're wasting money by replacing the PCV at every oil change. They're good as long as they rattle when you shake them, but at least they're cheap so if it makes you feel better go ahead. Also, if you haven't already you should change tranny, and diff. fluids.

stick with champion plugs and go for the truck plugs, and reroute your ignition wires while you are replacing them as per the tsb. ( if you don't want any headaches go to your local dodge dealer and get your parts there, may cost a dollar extra but it is well worth it )
