i've got an 88 dak that i want to trun into a on going project. I just read this months issue of hot rod and their junk yard jewel 318. i'm on a buget and was wondering if the frame and rearend on my truck would stand up to the 400hp of an engine like that. I'm not worried about the trans b/c I'm ordering a mopar performance a-500 and have been told that it will handle the power. If the rear can't hold up what could i use in it's place. Also what i can do to beef the frame.
