Hello, first time posting here.
I have a 2000 Dakota 4.7 and just bought a remote starter/alarm combo. The instructions were very minimal. I bought a Chilton's guide for my Dak, but I was hoping someone on here may have done an installation of this type. Can anyone point me in the right direction on how in the hell to do this? I'm looking for information like where to put the equipment, wiring, the shock sensor....basically anything anyone knows would be great.

the location of the equipment is wherever there is a spot for it. I put mine next to the steering column under the knee bolster, and the shock sensor just zip tie it to a large bundle of wires under the dash...as far as wiring every alarm is different...if you go to bulldog security's home page they have wire color code charts...but other than that I spent a lot of time looking for the right wires and just hoped it was the right one...and it actually worked the first time, I was impressed

I just did this on a 02 R/T and it was not to bad, just put the box on the DR side where it will fit. You may want to pick someplace that you cannot see under the dash without removig some plastic, that way someone cannot just break the window and pull the plug. Also make sure the wires for the siren cannot be pulled from under the car. Go to the Bulldog site, they will heva a diagram on how to use two relays to do the door locks. Your best bet is to write out a plan of action, I need to connect the yellow wire to this relay and to this wire in the collum and so on, just write it out step by step. That really helps you from being overwhelemed the first time.

Can anyone direct me how to purchase a center console with storage that fits into a 40-20-40 bench seat. I'm looking for dark slate gray cloth.
I only need the upper piece that folds up to create a center seat.
I'm interested in any options besides buying new from a Dodge dealer!
