Does it hurt a stock 4.7 liter to put a supercharger on it, or does it depend on what psi you run it at? Also, what kind of gas mileage would i expect if i put a supercharger on a stock 4.7?

It hasn't hurt mine (so far). I wouldn't go over 6 psi. Expect to lose about 1mpg. Your gas mileage will depend on how much time you spend in boost.

J is running a Kenne Bell system on his truck, and I'm running a Paxton on mine...
No problems yet. Mine is practically bone-stock other than the supercharger...
The 4.7's definitely love the boost, no matter what system you go with. It's a totally different animal.
MY gas mileage has changed for the worse, but I know why....I can't keep my foot out of it.

I'm getting the kenne bell next week. Hope i have the same reaction as you guys. I can't wait to feel the boost. Anything I should watch out for J???????

Where do you live? Do you have access to 92 or 93 octane? I don't =(
Get a boost gauge too. I didn't =(
Watch out for whiplash when that thing throws
you back into your seat =).
