Lee, Your 318 heads will physically bolt on to your pre-mag 360, but will not work without a couple of modifications. Your old 360 oils the rockers through a passageway in the cylinder head unlike a mag motor which oils them through the pushrods. You have to use AMC lifters and special length hollow pushrods to make the combo work. The exhaust on both heads are interchangeable, but the intake is a different story. The deck height on a mag motor is different, meaning the intake will not sit flush on the heads and will not bolt up. I tried to put a non-mag intake and a mag motor and the non- mag intake was too narrow, I found out the hard way, so take my advice. Also your old 360 has no provision for the cranksensor that will be needed for your Mag MPI setup. You could use a M-1 manifold from MP, but the motor would have to be carbureted not fuel injected.
