 Subject: Fiberglass Hoods

Just a quick question guys. I've heard that fiberglass hoods shrink in size causing the gaps on the edges of the hoods to increase. Is there any truth to this??? I'm about to get a Cervini's fiberglass hood and i would really like to know this before i spend the $439. Thanks in advance.

Fiber glass in my excperience wil flez but i have never notced any warping the only bad thing about it is the fact that you may need to get it repainted every few years because the paint will have tiny crack in it from the riber glass flexing due to the weather.
I would get the hood if you like it more then the steel ones.
I am also getting the Cervini hood.
