my truck has a 2.5l. anybody know how much it would costs if i went to dodge and have them drop a 4.7l to fill the void that is under my hood of my 2000 RC dakota?

transmission, rear end, ECM,
motor,suspension, etc. you're probably better
off dropping a built 360. I dont think the 4.7's
come cheap anyway.

There are a few reputable engine dealers on the net though. They are starting to pick some 4.7's. I think they are mostly remanufactured engines. If you do get a 4.7L from how ever you ought to get the tremec TKO 5spd conversion from keisler-automotive.com. I think its like 2800 for the kit and is a hell of better tranny than the NV3500.
