Hey KotaGirl. Dont listen to the idiots who are giving you a hard time. If you want some good unbiased advice you should call Marty at KRC performance. His shop is in Cocoa which is really close to where you are. I have all my work done by him and he has never done me wrong. You can also email me if you have any other questions.

What kind of tonneau are you getting? And kickers right, don't worry about the guys giving you a hard time just ignore it.
The ram head on the tonneau could be very cool if done tastefully...

Don't know about the snugtop, my favourite tonneau is the Raider Lo-Rider, you can get it so that your keyless remote unlocks it and it doesn't have any handles or anything on the surface, just looks nice and clean, low profile and very tight looking fit too, that's the one I want.

I checked out the site and it looked pretty cool, but then i saw a truck with it on there, and it isntexactly what i want. Its not as low profile as the snuglid (snugtop)... and im look for as far lowprofile as i can get without it being flush

I wish i had half the money some people have. I would drop in a V8 into my dak. Well i'm doing that right now but i'm doing it one piece at a time ..... i.e. I just bought a 318 block with computer (can you say score) now i'm just going to get stuff like pistons, rods, head work, you get the picture done one at a time. I can't afford to do it all in one big lump like osme people can. But hey i'm not complaining, at least i'm getting my V8, it might just take a little longer then most.

I purchased my first Dak when I was 26...I'm 28 now. I did have a severely suped up '95 Ram Regular Cab 4x4 until I joined the Navy and moved to Caliafornia (from Georgia). That's when I found out how friggin expensive gas is in Cali. Sucked driving it out there (literally sucking gas and hauling ass!)

I like the Gemtop GT Classic tonneau cover. It seems to have the lowest profile without being a flush mount design like the Checkmate.
Oh and KotaGirl, it's not a rule but more of a request. If you have ever seen an issue of Sport Truck magazine or Truckin' magazine you will notice that they always have beautiful bikini-clad women posing next to trucks. If it's not too much to ask for.......just teasing! ;-)
