I just bought a 98 Dakota with the 5.2 and 5-Speed Tranny. Unfortunately it doesn't have an owners manual, so I'm trying to find out what the stock gear ratio is for it. Thanks

if there is not a sticker in the glove box, then crawl underneath your truck and look at the cover on the diff. there will be 2 tags. One tag has 4 digits on it and the 2nd tag will say something like "3.2", "3.5", or "3.9".

Yeah, there is a sticker in the glove box that says I got 3.91 gears. Also, what type of diff is in the front end of the Dakota? It looks like a Dana 35 but I'm not sure? I know I got the Chrysler 9.25" in the rear. Thanks.
