I know this is the V8 board but I want to spread the love....

First of all, if it wasn't for this (v6) board, I wouldn't have known what to do to wake up my 6ixer.

Anyway, to make a long story short, I just had my 4.10s hooked up and I love the results. Now I just need to calm my a*s down so I can save on the gas. I never thought my V6 could perform the way it does now. I've driven R/Ts before and I've always envied the power but now all that is over. I need to give my truck a get well card because this thing is SICK!!

If I had only known this mod would make this big a difference I wouldn't have wasted my money and time (to fabricate the thing to fit) on a K&N FIPK and on my headers.

Thanks again to everyone who posts, especially on the V6 board.

FYI, here are my current mods on my '00 CC:
Fastman 46mm TB
K&N FIPK
Flowmaster 50 DF
JBA Headers
Pulley

My 4.56's for my R/T should be here Monday. I am excited as well. Gears make absolutely zero horsepower, but they sure make you think they do. Ive always heard from old time hotrod guys that gears are your biggest difference maker. But there are a few out there that consider it "cheating". Im just worried about gas milage and my stock intake manifold not being able to keep up with the higher RPMs. Enjoy those 4.10's !

Thanks, man!

Can you give me advice on how to keep off the gas pedal? I had the same problem when I had the 3.55s but that was only because I was trying to keep up with other cars.

Like they said in Mopar mag, "the v6 is a decent little performer, especially with the right upgrades."

Take it to the track and have some fun with it! Keep the V6 badges on and have the V8 guys scratch their heads.
