I was wondering if anyone uses or heard of Fastman
throttle bodies (formerly of Quick D). They're half of the
price of most of the other brands I've seen. Are they
good quality, because it seems like a damn good deal.
Give me some input.

They are a damn good deal. I just installed one of his ported 68mm TBs on my 03 4.7, and could tell a difference immediately on the acceleration and bottom end. I'm also running HO cams and intake, NS cold air intake, Gibson 3" catback, Autolite 3923s and the 180 stat. The TB was the last mod in, and it balanced the package nicely. Also, Dan is as honest a vendor as you'll find, easy to work with, and does top-notch work - went out of his way to get me mine very quickly so I could drive it a bit before I deploy. A good businessman who turns out a solid product - you won't be disappointed!

Okay even though I'm broke as a joke, I think I'm gonna break down and buy a fastman tb for my dak. Here's the deal: I want low end torque, the only mod I have right now is the ho cams. I'm only doing mods that are dyno proven. The cams were awesome, more torque and better driveability. Dan Arcand recommends sticking with the ported 68mm as he says anything more sacrifices torque. I'm considering the 69mm simply b/c I have a 2002 and I cant imagine a ported 68mm would make a whole big difference. I'm fully aware Dan works them over quite a bit and they are much better flowing than a stock 68mm but I feel I may benefit more from the 69mm considering I have the ho cams in already, what do you all think?

2002 4.7 QC, auto, 3.92's, R/T rims, snugtop, and oh yeah...H.O. Cams!
