After owning several Dodge Rams and Dakota's over the past 25 + years and reading tons of messages at this site here is what I believe is their biggest downfall. It seems that their auto transmissions come in first as being the biggest problems and second I would have to say very weak brake systems on their 4X4's, Ram or Dakota. They still beat Chevy and Ford by a long shot in quality BUT there is a transmission plant near where I live and several people that work there will NOT buy a truck or car with auto trans. Just my 2 cents worth.
